SOFUS

SOFUS is an advanced clinical analysis service built on top of the Journl Streamed platform.

While Journl Streamed is responsible for ingesting, normalizing, and streaming structured clinical data using open standards such as FHIR, SOFUS operates at the next layer: transforming clinical events into derived features, analyses, and decision-support inputs.

SOFUS consumes time-stamped clinical observations from and applies domain-specific logic, temporal aggregation, and clinical interpretation to support use cases such as early detection, risk stratification, and continuous patient monitoring.

The service is designed to be modular and decoupled from the underlying data platform. This allows Journl Streamed to remain a general-purpose, reusable health data foundation, while SOFUS can evolve independently as an analysis and interpretation layer.
