SOFUS Inputs

SOFUS operates on top of Journl Streamed and consumes a defined subset of clinical data that is currently used to support real-time clinical analysis and decision support.

The inputs described in this section reflect the current configuration used by SOFUS. Clinical settings, workflows, and data availability can vary significantly between hospitals and care environments. For this reason, these inputs should not be interpreted as universal or mandatory requirements. Each implementation must be assessed and adapted in close collaboration with clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment with local practices and clinical objectives.

This section describes the FHIR-based inputs used by SOFUS. Only data elements explicitly required for clinical analysis are included. Inputs are grouped into:

  1. Patient and Care context

  2. Clinical observations

Unless stated otherwise, all inputs are consumed as time-stamped FHIR resources and interpreted by SOFUS as longitudinal clinical signals.
